馬尾草(學名：問荊)Horsetail是一種生長多年的植物，看起來像一隻鳥或是一匹馬的尾巴，早在古希臘、羅馬、中國就一直使用馬尾來做草藥，他除了對健康有益處外，它的葉子已被用於染色，印度人用它來製作木製工具，在日本作為洗髮水和化妝品。馬尾草含有多種營養成分，如錳、鈣、鐵、類黃酮、植物甾醇、脂肪酸、二氧化矽等。
